Kaiku Acoustics combines Finnish design, craftsmanship and international production. Depending on the model, our products are manufactured and assembled either in Finland or in collaboration with our international production partners.
Kaiku Wave is manufactured in Shenzhen, China, in collaboration with our selected production partner. The pre-assembled headphones undergo final assembly, finishing and quality control in Finland.
Kaiku Tone and Kaiku Lite are assembled and finished in Kuopio, Finland.
All Kaiku wooden headbands are handcrafted in Finland using Finnish wood.
All Kaiku headphones are designed and developed in Finland.

How long does delivery take?

All products in stock are shipped within five business days of your order. Delivery within Finland usually takes 1–2 business days from shipment. You will receive a notification once your order is ready for pickup at the Posti pickup point you selected.

Products purchased from the Kaiku online store come with a 30-day trial period from the date of receipt.You are welcome to try your Kaiku headphones at home and make sure they are right for you and meet your expectations. If you decide to return the product, please always contact our customer service first at kaiku@kaikuacoustics.fi.Once we receive the returned product, we will inspect its condition and functionality. If the product is returned in proper condition, is fully functional, and has no damage caused by use or handling, we will refund the purchase price.

What is the headband made of?

The wooden headbands are made from five layers of wood, with domestic birch and ash at the core. The surface is finished with carefully selected walnut or oak, resulting in a high-quality, stylish, and durable product.

All wooden headbands are handcrafted in Finland, with each veneer individually chosen to ensure the best possible quality. The wood veneers we use are FSC-certified, guaranteeing responsible and sustainable sourcing of the materials.

Why are the outer surfaces of the product made of aluminum instead of plastic?

All visible surfaces of the product are made of anodized black aluminum, not plastic. Aluminum is significantly more durable and long-lasting than plastic, and it retains its appearance better over years of use.

The aluminum ear cups also perform better acoustically: their rigid structure isolates sound more effectively, improving the headphones’ noise-canceling performance compared to plastic enclosures.

Additionally, the telescopic height adjustment mechanism of the headphones is made of zinc-coated metal, ensuring structural rigidity, wear resistance, and smooth movement throughout the product’s lifespan.
